buying ammo online, i gotta prove i am worthy by my states ammo restrictions.

here in RI, we must either present the state's "Blue Card", which proves we read the safety manual and took an open book test

or, we must present our CCW permit.

now i know this, at my LGS they know me, so i don't have to show anything, except either my credit or debit card, and on rare occasions, cash.

so i need some 45 ACP hollow points, for one of my carry guns...i also need 9mm hollow points for my Hellcat.

i like Federal HST, this is what i want to stick to.

my LGS, has none in stock, so online i go to Target Sports USA....they have one, not the other, so i am on the email list.

as i am checking out, they want a download of my Blue Card...oy-vey, the one i had, i have my name removed.....so get camera, take pic, and download...

no good..."too big a picture"......like WTF now...

resize, pic, download good.

i hope now, it's kept on file at Target Sports USA.

dang Nazi lawmakers.

i just called Target Sports, the gal there said once i downloaded the Blue Card, they keep that on my account for the future....

thank God, someone actually has brains to make a customers life easy

C’mon down to Texas, bro. You can nap outside in a hammock 365 days a year, while young nubile things deliver guns and ammo direct to your hammock just because you look like you deserve it. Gotta go, one of them wants to know about the size of my barrel. 😎😇😘

i know, i was born in the wrong state.

as a former trucker (and mechanic before that), i fell in love with the southwest.

even upper west?? like the Dakotas, Wyoming. for the wide open spaces.

it wasn't until i got into the gun sport, that i was finding out the superior states for gun rights.

i wanted to move away, but we were "saddled" with our kids still....now, several years older, we don't "see" us going anywhere.

best advice to the younger ones.??

I am in Illinois; on-line sellers must have a Copy of a current Illinois FOID and some want a DL as well. Address on the ID MUST match the shipping address. They won't ship to Chicago / Cook County.

To buy in the local gun shop they need to run the FOID to verify is is still valid and has not been revoked.

Several places won't even ship anything to Illinois, NY, NJ, CA, etc..

Being in nj i have to have my driver’s license and nj fid card on file with the vendor. I only order from a handful of online vendors so it is not much of a hassle.
Ther are some vendors who refuse to send anything to nj, outright. Same with gunbroker.
