California gun store robbery

A gun shop in the Richmond, Va, area was hit a month or so ago. It seems this problem is nation-wide.
before the pandemic, my LGS did not have bars on the windows or doors.

i'd say about a quarter of the way into that crisis, bars installed every where.

but never heard of any problems there. just a very good precautionary thing to do.

Bars are great if they can withstand a catastrophic event. What many of these break-ins have in common is that the robbers use a vehicle to breach the entrance. Then it's basically a smash and grab.

true that would be.....but

that particular store in my area..??

has huge bollards going across the storefront doors and windows...

the most any one would be able to smash, would be the siding....after the end of the bollard row.

I don't think it's a smash-n-grab if they took the time to open a safe. 2 BMW getaway cars and a targeted safe means this is anything but!

IMO
