This read was revealing on more than a couple of topics. I would love the thoughts of the members of this community.

Without getting into a protracted discussion/debate I just think it’s naive to think in writing the open ended statement that is 2nd Ammendment it was intended to cover every and any eventuality to come in the next several hundred years. It reminds me of the law in London that was written in the 1800s when taxis were horse drawn that requires all Hackney Carriages to keep a bail of hay onboard to avoid cruelty to the horses. That law is still intact today and applies to motorized taxis today.

So, you’re saying the phrase tea and crumpets is ya’ll having tea and eating your hay 🤔
Explains Brits right there 😝

Hold up. There's a trend here. OP links some paywall bullshit from the wall **** journal on two different threads and then never follows up after having the posts shredded by the members here.

Don't feed the trolls ladies and gents. Given the wealth of knowledge on firearms here, I feel like we deserve a better class of troll. Get this weak sauce out of here.

I had a good mind when I was in IT, but then spent 10 years after I retired driving school bus, so much for a good mind...
I’m still in IT so trying to stay sharp and fend off these new college grads

Not trolling. Was just sharing content from my reads this week. Interesting to see the WSJ give this level of coverage to the gun industry.

More interesting that they give this level of coverage to something that only exists as a tenet of gun control laws. It’s also interesting that both of the threads you’ve been responding in revolve around tenets of gun control or what appears to be a sort of data gathering exercise about people’s appetite for certain gun control provisions. Plus you’re soliciting people to subscribe to the same BS on both threads.
