Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Can a Bullpup and a Red Dot Hit at 500?” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/can-a-bullpup-and-a-red-dot-hit-at-500/.
Depends on how big the dot & the target are.Wouldn't the red dot cover up the target at that distance?
Depends on how good the shooters eyes are and their ability.
So….when I was shooting silhouettes at 450yds…since most people were running red dots/reticles, the silhouettes were painted John Deere green (I had several rattle cans of that color).Cool video and good shooting...I mistakenly assumed he was shooting unmagnified from the title. I might be more impressed if he could hit without the 3x...
My eyes couldn't see a full silhouette at 300 yards through a non-magnified optic, let alone 500.
Depends on who's shooting. If it's me, hitting a large piece of steel at 500 yards is a good job no matter what kind of gun it is. lolAccuracy doesn't always mean being able to hit a large piece of steel at a distance.
Springfield Bullpup .308 is a great thing
