can training be used against you in court?

They will throw and twist everything around. Training classes you have done to instructor credentials etc. I know a person who had a lethal force encounter on duty as a LEO. He is also a Gunsite Instructor. In the civil trial they (the Plaintiffs Attorney) equates the trademark Gunsite Raven to him being a “White Supremacist” in Federal Court and Judge wanted clarification.

He also wrote for some magazines and they came after that twisting the articles around as well as online items

They will also go after you and twist anything you have done around no matter what!

So be prepared and I’d recommend having a “”Reputable” company for self Defense coverage because even I. A text book legal use of force you need an attorney for any civil and especially what some overlook is the media circus alone!

Most folks have zero clue what can and most likely will happen when the use deadly force. It’s a homicide or attempted homicide investigation period. Then even if you are cleared unless your state has protections in place the civil litigation usually starts!

Here is a great podcast on Primaey Secondary

If you want a more brief here is Guy Reliford covering it on a 30 min radio show

Yeah, it's a topic that gives gun writers something to do all right.

AS anything in ones back ground can be used in court by the prosecution and defense lawyer if it can legally be brought up in that city/county/states laws.

Example: In many blue states, your race will play a decisive role in being treated as one's guilt or innocent for a fair trial. Hopefully this will be corrected soon.
