Can you add optic to the 1911 RONIN® EMP® 4″ 9MM HANDGUN UPC: 706397937706?

I am thinking about buying a handgun I could carry. I am considering the 1911 EMP 4" 9MM handgun. This would be my first handgun. I am also considering something that I could potentially add optics to later. Is it possible on this gun, and if so, how simple or difficult is it?
Would the 1911 RONIN® AOS 4.25" HANDGUN 9MM | BLUED / SATIN ALUMINUM UPC: 706397964528, which is already optics-ready, be a better option? It is a bit bigger and a bit heavier than the 4".
Thoughts?

The 1911 EMP has a narrower grip and would be more comfortable for people with smaller hands. The thinner profile would also be easier to conceal.

emps are not listed, as factory available
i just did the swap on my legacy xd 4 " and its a different animal
but i dont have a holster yet for the added optic footprint it added

my full size ronin 45 is an excellent passenger on the hip
i drove 4 days with 10 -12 hrs in the seat and it never complained

THIS! In the real world 1/4" and an oz or so don't make any difference, unless you're like me and "I want what I want damn it". JMHO, 1st handgun, get a 3-4" DA/SA 22 revolver. Actually, get both then you don't feel cheated by only having a little 22. Use the 22 to really learn how to shoot a handgun without the distraction of recoil and muzzle blast. As an added bonus once you master a DA trigger pull everything else is a breeze.

It’s 2025, get a modern 9mm that you are going to put into action and learn to shoot that. Don’t get a micro (P-365, Hellcat and the like) because they are harder to get to get to grips with because of their size. Something like the Echelon or Echelon Compact are perfect. Easy to handle, easy to learn on - despite what the dinosaurs will tell you. Forget all that .22 stuff. Make sure you get good training off the bat and you will be good to go.
