Captain America Stopped at the Gate!

When I was an Army field recruiter we had a mental health clinic near by and some of the patients would occasionally stop by and try to enlist. I was warned by my station commander not to entertain them, so I did my best to get them out the door as quick as possible. One guy said he wanted to enlist so he could fly the space shuttle, I sent him next door to the Air Force recruiter.
 
35 years ago about, a coworker had been out drinking one night and took the wrong road to an Air Force base. He was stopped at the gate were he explained he had taken the wrong street and was told to turn around. They meant for him to back up and turn around. Instead in his intoxicated state he drove through the check point to turn around. As he did the SPs noticed an AR15 in the back seat. Needless to say he didn't complete the turn. $$$$$$$$$

As an OSI agent we had the criminal, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism mission. Loonies would show up at the base gates on a regular basis wanting to share some secret spy info. We sent our rookie agents to talk to them-if you didn't humor them they could cause serious problems for you. Having the nut jobs indexed could save a lot of time dealing with the nonsense.
Some of these people could sound sane at first.

Some agents are rumored to have collected FBI business cards to hand out to the crazies but I never participated in such interagency skulduggery.😉
 
why is there more news about Florida man (or woman) doing stupid :poop: ..??

is it the water down there..??? too much gater :poop: floating around in it...??

too much coconuts floating in it..???

i dunno, i suppose if it weren't for "Florida man (or woman)", doing stupid :poop: i suppose i'd have to spend more time at the range.... or take more naps......

Lets put it this way...I'm from Oklahoma and I never thought I'd live somewhere as redneck as home. Then I moved to Florida. Lets just say it's a different kind of crazy.
