CCI mini mags

i tried some Norma Ecospeed 22 lead free 24 grain ammo with a claimed muzzle velocity of 1700 f/s. It was on sale and I see why. Awful. It shot about 6" high at 40 yards with a basketball sized group. I still have 2 boxes left. I can't bring myself to shooting it and waste otherwise decent range time.

its still time to myself

CCI mini mags are the only .22LR round I use. I have used them since late 60's . I tried other brands , Winchester , Federal , and Remington but didn't like all the misfires from those .

Never tried the Aguila brand but since I don't shoot .22 much anymore , I guess I will stick with what I know works , for me anyway.

Aguila is pretty good. i had bought up like 20 boxes of them. still have many left, as well as Federal and CCI

i just do not shoot my .22 as much as all my other guns.

then i have my RIA .22 magnum, (1911 style) that too gets infrequent range times.
