I read all these articles in American Rifleman and other gun publications and think I should share with the group. Then I realize, nah, Anni will get to it very soon

One of the best informative articles that has been posted, although I have no where near thousands of rounds through any of my weapons they are babied.
They are cleaned after every time at the range and the extent of the cleaning is representative of the rounds through the gun in that particular session. They are also “cleaned” once a month whether they are shot or not.
Kind of “off” topic but a good example of how proper maintenance is paramount.
A month ago I noticed the tell tail sign of acid attacking the positive post on the battery of my truck and although I purchased a cleaning kit I procrastinated and on Friday of last week I had a dead battery that needed replacing.
Take care of your things and they will take care of you.
