I have seen some shooters use cast bullets in rifles, but for me, I would pass, even though there hard cast, at those velocities you will still get leading, bad enough on the faster rounds with jacket fouling.

I have seen some shooters use cast bullets in rifles, but for me, I would pass, even though there hard cast, at those velocities you will still get leading, bad enough on the faster rounds with jacket fouling.

When I was taking the chl class a teacher from the HS had a 1911 w/cast bullets his dad loads and were pretty accurate. I'm not a lead fan unless it wears a jacket.
