I dont mind them on the neighbors house but when they over shoot and peek in my window its another story.

I haven't really seen them being used these past two years but they were pretty popular a few years back.

Fortunately I didn't have any neighbors that used them either.
 
Those crazy things adorn a ton of the lawns in my hood..
driving down the street they glare off into your eyes ..

On a side note: I was known lovingly as somewhat of a grinch back in my working days when I had an office job. One year in particular I was surprised with a personal joke gift from my secretary of an ink stamp of a small bug with the wording of "Bah Humbug". She said now I didn't have to even write anything if I was going to not approve any vacation or personal leaves for the holidays ..... just ink my little stamp and stamp it!!!

The entire office had a good laugh over that. 'Course the only time I got to use it was on her request ............ ;):):):)

I wish, I actually had the SO out one year because the neighbors (1 mile away) unit fell and was lasing the house and driveway.
It was kind of funny. The officers that came out where trying to keep a low profile so all lights were off and they started to hand me a patrol rifle, I almost took it before we both realized what we were doing.
*I just got blasted by another neighbors and it just brought it all up again. Although, this time I can see the unit and its not hidden in a bush.
