Wore one today with a full frame. Not to bad. I thought I would sweat my **** off but did not. Holds several important things, such as a extra clip, id, mace and your side arm. If I can stuff a full size in there and carry comfortably, I am happy. If I can do all of those things and still be not noticed? Well I sat. I ate. I moved through crowds. It worked. It was comfortable as it could be. I imagine it is like woman taking off a bra, felt good to get home, but really was not like I could not have done it for several more hours.
Overall? A 8 out of 10. I don't think it needs a snap over as the pouch holds well enough. It could be thinner.
I don't know why it would need to be so wide.

Thank you for the post. have not tried one of those, and they are running a pretty cheap sale this weekend.
 
I can not imagine anything but perhaps a derringer being comfortable or even tolerable with this rig. Takes an over shirt or other for concealment. A full sized 1911?? The Observer must have a financial interest in the product/company? ;)

Nope, my wife bought one a year or two ago and I was just like you and said nope, not for me and refused to try it, Like I said I figured it would be bulky, hot and uncomfortable. I could tell by looking at it that a full size would indeed fit in it. Yesterday I decided to wear a loose fitting shirt where we were going and decided to give it a try. I just ordered one for myself today. If nothing else for $30 with an extra mag pouch it is another option and a pretty decent option at that.
She likes hers, because she ordered from somewhere where she got a little pouch for her pepper spray and one for her permit to carry, so everything is all together.
I thought about buying her a ccw purse, but decided that if anyone were to try and grab anything or try and steal anything a purse might be the first thing. Then they have your firearm as well. So I do not like the purse idea for women. Like I said she has always like the belly band or whatever it is called and after trying it, I have to say it is a good alternative.

Order them the smallest size that works with their sizing chart. You need them to be tight otherwise the gun hangs outward and is uncomfortable. Also, in warm weather sweat will soak through these things and get on your gun. I always wear wife beaters though and that pretty much stopped that issue.
