Do you have the APX Centurion model? Watched all kinds videos on it but don't know anyone who actually has one. How do you like the Beretta if you don't mind me asking. Right now my next target handgun is either a CZ P10C or a Beretta APX Centurion. Thanks for any info.Interesting read, thanks Talyn.
I started with the Glock G19 and S&W M&P 9mm (both 4"+ bbls) for CCW. Next I gravitated to the sub compacts: S&W PC Shields 9,40,45, P365, Hellcat, H&K VP9SK, CZ 2075 BD ROMI, Glock G43, G26, G27, G29, SA XD.Mod2, XDs, XDe (all .45 in 3.3" bbl), etc. (all 3"+ bbls). Although I would still carry any of these, I've recently been moving towards the Compact to mid-range sizes: S&W M&P 9 & 40, SIG P320's 9,40,45, P365 XL, FN 509 MRD Compact, FNS 9C, Beretta APX Compact (all 3.5"+ bbls). My EDC is still the Shield Performance Center 45, as it's the one I've trained with the most. But I've recently been shooting the Hellcat and regular size P365 and want to start shooting with my recently purchased FN 509 MRD Compact (with Trijicon SRO optic), P365 XL (with Romeo Zero optic still on back order from Optics Planet), and the Beretta APX. It's great to have all these choices.
It's funny you asked this. When I went to my Local Gun Store (LGS), I asked my buddy there, if they had the APX Compact. He thought they did & took me down to the Beretta display showing the APX Compact on the price tag. It felt good, and after handling it for a bit, I decided to take it. I got home and looked on the Gun Case label and it listed it as the Centurion. Apparently, when they received the gun, the Centurion was the smallest size and the "true" compact was introduced later, so they just listed the Centurion as the compact model. No problem, since the Beretta APX was their first "Striker Fire" gun made to compete in the then Army's Modular replacement firearm contract, I can remove the Fire Control Group (Like SIG's P320's that I have in their different calibers), and replace the centurion grip (15 rounds), with the Compact Grip (13 rounds), since the barrel and slides are the same length in each model. I've done several of the P320's, changing to subcompacts by buying their Xchange kits. I haven't done the APX yet, but from watching Scooth00's Video during his review of the Centurion, he showed how to change the grips in one of his videos. It looks pretty straight forward, you just need to be careful undoing a spring that is connected to the FCG and frame and then replacing the group w/ spring in the new frame.Do you have the APX Centurion model? Thanks for the info sir. I wasn't aware that the Centurion was actually the smaller version. It sure looks like a shooter on the videos I've watched. I saw the full size APX version on sale the other day for $322.00 somewhere but it looked pretty large, but the compact looked very nice on the Youtube videos. I haven't been able to find one anywhere around where I live. I found the smaller version, which I guess is the sub-compact but the grip is too short for my big hands. I held a CZ P10C and it was perfect as far as grip length, and the APX compact looks like it has a similar length. Is it very top heavy? The slide looks pretty thick on top. Sorry for all the questions, just curious, I'm a big Beretta fan, my first handgun I purchased was a Beretta 92FS eons ago and sure wish I'd have kept the thing, it was a beauty. It's funny you asked this. As far as your 2nd question, unfortunately I just purchased this recently along with the FN 509 and P365XL in late February, before I got to go to the range in March, this virus stuff happened and the ranges were forced to close in my State.
Hello.. First time here. Have a Hellcat. Was told the RomeoZero would fit the OSP. Any thoughtsInteresting read, thanks Talyn.

You too. Post how you made out when completed, as another poster (or two), were also curious on the same question. Thanks sir. So all I need is to have the mounting screws fixed. Not too disappointed because of the great sights they already have. Have a Blessed day
I have all calibers of the P320 with numerous different grips and Xchange kits. I was looking at some of their Optic ready slides (most were out of stock on Sig's site), specifically for my P320 Sub compact 9mm. It was fairly expensive, but I suppose cheaper than having a gunsmith cut my current slide. Like you, aging eyes, so I'm starting to look into pistol carry optics. I bought a FN 509 MRD Compact 9mm and a Trijicon SRO optic for it (along with the P365XL and back ordered Romeo Zero). It was right before the pandemic hit, so I'll have to wait to try it out. I do have a Glock G40 10mm with a Trijicon RMR that I shot. It was a bit different to adjust to the optic presentation in general, but I'm willing to learn. Anyways, welcome to the Forum, it's good to have you here.Sure will. Also have a 320 with 2 lowers. May try to get a slide for OSP I have old eyes. Have a custom G 17 with Trig on it but carry my sub. Nice to meet ask y’all
