Well, this finally passed both in the PA State House and Senate. I've been hounding my State's Senator and Representative with GOA and FPC / SAF "Take Action" emails (Fortunetly, they are both strong 2A advocates and voted Yes on this measure. I even sent a FPC "Action Alert" to the Governor, asking for him to please sign it). He's been on record before this was even voted on, that he'd Veto it if it made it to his desk. Hopefully, one day, we'll join the other Constitutional Carry States.

Hope it passes, Ohio version went to senate the other day, passed in the House, hopefully Ohio will get it also.

Oh it passed (Yesterday), Gov. Wolf just won't sign it into law and there aren't enough votes to override his veto. Maybe when we get a pro 2A Governor in place, they can get this passed again and then signed into Pa. law.
Keep up the fight!

We have constitutional carry in NH and it's the way free life should be. I just need to be careful driving on the border with Massachusetts so I don't become an accidental felon by unintentionally crossing over.

I had my LTC in Massachusetts when I lived there and had to jump through hoops to get it and in the end I still had to pass the same federal background check that everyone else has to in every other state to buy a firearm. The LTC doesn't prevent anything negative from happening it's just way for the state to sell you back a right you should be already guaranteed by the constitution.

The Ohio edition…….

I'm glad the Ohio bill also addresses the "duty to inform" issue. Hope it passes.

From article
HB 227 also addresses one of the more confusing aspects of Ohio gun law, the so-called "duty to inform." Under current law, a person encountering law enforcement must "promptly" notify an officer that they are carrying. The word "promptly" has been interpreted differently by various police agencies and prosecutors, leaving gun owners in a vulnerable position, even when they believe they have complied with the law.

Yea, we can't get rid of Wolf fast enough. You would think he would learn what the people want when the people voted to limit his (governor's) emergency declaration power. It's obvious he isn't there for the people!

If I were the House and Senate I would just keep re-submitting it under a new bill number, in front of all business, until he does sign it. I'm for bringing the state to a standstill until he does what we want, or he's gone.
