I have a dpms cut lower and a armalite upper. Could you marry them,.........well yes. Everything aligns, so why not? It might not be pretty, but could function fine I in a pickle. I'm not saying use an armalite (true armalite) upper with a dpms lower, because the recoil system might not be as comparable? MEGA has dpms cuts that are for dpms and armalite fitment. I haven't checked their site to see if the manufacture armalite systems for armalite parts compatibility?

I do have both styles and check for feeding issues. Takedown and pivot pins line up perfectly. Being both dpms compatible there shouldn't be any issues, but will check.

You're not the weakest link....... maybe the missing link, but not the weakest link...

I can tell you this for sure that an armalite cut with dpms parts functioning lower will not mate. However, the reverse will mate. the angle cut on the lower and the rounded cut on the upper is the issue. A rounded lower with an angle cut upper will mate and function. None of the parts are armalite, just the angled cut of the receivers.
