Is this a new model of gun? Never saw it till now

Yes , I haven't been able to gain any info on it after purchasing it .the counter guys said it arrived mins before and they knew nothing about it. What I have found online speaks of a leaked image and little else ?

Definitely not a Mustang copy like the 911.

And it sounds like someone at S&W messed up and these somehow got shipped before they were announced.

Either that or someone at the distributor/broker or LGS screwed up.

There have been a few leaks of this pistol online already.
