PINNING THE GRIP SAFETY!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 Now you're talking my language!
Doesn’t pinning the safety basically make it a Sig P320?

No, it makes a Browning High Power or a Wilson X9.

And on the rest of the customization…

Drop that much into it, and you could’ve gotten a REAL Staccato.
I guess the real question is, does dropping that much into it make it compete equally with the Staccato or can it possibly be better for it's intended use.

Without any real world data on the Prodigy's capabilities after being fully customized makes any assumptions just that an assumption.

There's quite a few 1911s that compete in the Staccato price range already and now here's another option.

I don't compete in competition so my questions are only questions not an opinion to the capabilities of this modded Prodigy.

I feel most firearms of the same style that fall into a particular price range are mostly equal in capabilities & performance with the caveat being the unique minor differences between them just like a lot of other similar type products.

Possible consideration, putting the same price into a new, unproven product line and comparing it to a similar, high, priced product with a proven track record. In this case it might be prudent to buy the original, or wait until, the new product at least has some kind of history to be judged by before buying and sinking a lot of money in custom upgrades.

But that's just me.

The people that have the kinda cash on hand to drop on an expensive custom job are most likely the target audience.
