Very interesting results. The Springfield XDM was a 45 with a 5.25" barrel, I was not able to find one currently available. Is there such a model currently in production?
 
Iam curious if anybody tried the 1911R1 put out by remington 45 auto with a 5 inch barrel. If so please let me know how well it did using the 45 acp gsp. Thanks

It would do the exact same as any other 5” 1911…as for feeding, each gun is an individual; what works in one will not necessarily work in another, even though they are identical models.
