Agreed. ANY Dan Wesson is a top notch product.
I currently own a 3 DW 1911's.
1 Valkyrie 9mm, 2 Valors ( VBOB & 5" VALOR).
People question the wisedom of using an Alloy frome and a SS slide. My Valkyrie has several thousand rounds downrange with no abnormal wear.

Hans said it best. For the money you can’t beat it. I have a Bruin in a .45 and fit, finish (duty treat) and accuracy are excellent. Gives Wilson, NH, Ed Brown, ect. a run for their money.

Sig has been running stainless slides in alloy frames on their P-series pistols for 20+ years with no issues...

Just use grease, and run them a little more wet than standard.
