I happen to agree with Dave. The pendulum is beginning a very slow arc back to the right but we have a long way to go. I am convinced that when citizens become thoroughly fed up with crime and disorder, criminals will look back at these as the good old days.
Is the United States finally turning back to support law and order and the men and women who enforce it.

Thank you for your service as a veteran and a law enforcement officer.
I think the pendulum is swinging back to law and order, but progress will be slow and us 2nd amendment supporters need to realize some people will always be scared of firearms.
I was in Ferguson 2 or 3 weeks before the incident and rioting. I noticed the tension in the city between black and white and left the area. I think you can feel hate in an area. I've rarely felt as much hate as I did in Ferguson.
(I once got lost in rural Arkansas and came across a Confederate Cemetery. I'm white but the people who lived near there knew I wasn't from the area and got out of there as quickly as I could.)
Some people will always hate law enforcement and that's too bad. If some people ever want to see what bad law enforcement is just go into Matamoros, Reynosa, Progreso, or Tijuana, Mexico.
I have no doubt that spending a day there would be a life changing experience for those who think American Law Enforcement is bad, when it's the best in the world, in my, not so humble, opinion.
