Defund the police city council sees uptick in city crime rate.

The city council vowed to defund the police and enact massive reform. Now there is a large uptick in crime and police are not as readily apparent. Wonder why that is ??
So let’s review, they take back a million dollars of funding, they lose 100 officers for multiple reasons. Then they wonder why violent behavior has increased to record levels.
it’s stupidity at it’s finest.
It’s the lack of common sense That produces thinking like this.

Total hypocrisy.

Minneapolis/St. Paul/MN state made the bed that they're living in, and the city/state officials had the nerve to ask the rest of the Nation's taxpayers to provide funding for rehab.

IMO the only taxpayers that should fork out the $$ to do what rebuilding is needed are the citizens of MN. Having lived in MN for awhile I know that won't go over well for those that live outside the "Cities", so the folks in that metro area should pay for it. But I'm sure the DFL will find a way to screw over the state to pay for it.

Now, same city officials that earlier voiced that calling the police is an act of "so-called privilege" are alarmed with the rise in crime that likely affect, the "privilege" of them being city officials. What a bunch of bull :poop:

This is the case for the other cities that this same thing has happened with the same "violence endorsers" telling the LEOs to protect their homes.

And now a VP candidate has gone on record for the riots to continue. But she is safe with Secret Service protection.

Karma is a female dog. I have a 2 yr old grandson with more common sense than the idiots running these cities. I'd say maybe, just maybe, the citizens might just start voting for positive changes, but I bet it will not happen. Either there's some deep-seated voting fraud happening (year, after year, after year!?), or, the citizens love living in misery. I guess it's up to them. I know how I vote, and it's certainly not for misery.

Inner cities thrive on welfare.

Call me stereotypical...but it's a sad fact, and part of the Democrat platform. Keep 'em on the government teat, and they'll keep voting for your party because you give them "free" stuff.

Inner city folk are hooked, and the Dem leaders are their pushers.
Some in the Black community are waking up. Trump has done more for them than anyone in the last 70 yrs.

But the jackass party has them hooked pretty hard, plus the "enablers" in their own community make their living off their own folks.
Both great posts and hit the nail square.

Louisville Mayor just approved a 12 million settlement for Taylors family, the protesters are stronger than ever because they have not hung the cops in the city square and they think her family should have gotten 20 million more than they did. City council is working on firing our Mayor and it can't come fast enough.

If I were all the business owners & homeowners in Minneapolis/St Paul who lost homes & businesses I'd sue the city & state governments for their losses for being accomplishes to looting & arson, and incompetence's.

Ditto for folks in those other cities where the Jackass Party let the mob run amok.

The Louisville mayor needs to go. He is just rolling over and kissing A$$ the money “no comment” but the
Breanna Taylor case is a cluster F$$$
Her death was a tragedy that should never have happened and if the cops don’t face charges the city will burn. It will make the Rodney King riots look like a block party.

Actually was she caught in cross fire between her felon boyfriend and the Police-wouldn't her boyfriend be the one to blame-did he not fire at the Police?
No cross fire, he fired One shot at the door, police did not identify themselves while they were attempting to break into the apartment. In return three police officers fired over 12 rounds blindly into the apartment having no idea who was inside. What if a young child or baby was in that apartment????
Breanna T. Was struck 7 times.
The boyfriend was not a felon and was licensed by the state of Kentucky to carry.

Part of me wants to be content with the people of MSP getting exactly what they voted for, but I worry it will lead to worse outcomes. Democrats will never admit that defunding and vilifying the police inevitably results in increased criminal activity. Their favorite response to increased violent crime is to come after legal gun owners. I have never expected much from politicians, but the fact that supposedly normal people would keep voting leftist democrats into office and supporting their failed policies frightens me.

Thanks-I wasn't real sure.
