Differences Between 'Lead' & 'Hard Cast' Bullets

Hard Cast Bullets are bound to leave buildup in the barrel: Sure ordinarily they shoot fine and dandy, yet lead will quite often be bound to leave more fouling in a weapon than jacketed slugs.
Any ammunition will eventually leave residue in barrels that needs attention and cleaning. Residue is called fouling.
Some of the rational between using different types, construction and considerations of ammo is cost and purpose.

Hard cast are meant to be for a specific purpose and not everyday shooting.

Most hard cast will be used minimally in shooting

the use of hardcast, especially ammo like BuffaloBore will be very infrequent at best. I use BB and Underwood.
