Discussion of caliber effectiveness from someone who knows

Always wondered what data, bullet technical aspects in an autopsy is collected, shared or compiled, if at all (to any private industry…) - not including the retrieval of criminal evidence and cause/time of death, etc.

Chicago-Cook County morgue sees on average 2 gun shot deaths a day, among all the other incoming, and thats just within the Chicago city limit and not the rest of the suburban sprawl. The Summer of Joy™️ started on Memorial Day weekend and since, so far there’s been over 200 gun death homicides. That’s a lot of data to sort and lead to pluck…doesn’t seem like something they're interested in is the collecting of slugs for real-time manufacturing industry‘s ballistics improvement. I recall how doctors and ME’s balked at the infamous Black Talon bullet they had to extract.
If bullet manufacturing needed a test lab or medical examiners needed a training facility, Cook Co Morgue could clean up in revenue.

Heck of a read though. It’s too bad I only have a 4 hr battery life in my iPad.
Let me know how it ends….

I lifted this from another site, I believe it is illustrious. Nothing new or shocking here but the ME's observations are relevant
I've read this before. No one seems to know who this ME is or what his credentials are.

I've even read commentary from a couple of SMEs who say that it's all fake as in whoever wrote it has never worked in a morgue in their life.

For whatever it's worth the Smith & Wesson forum still list dead meat as a member but every single one of his posts has been deleted

This article has been going around for close to 20 years…and has never been confirmed.

I’d take it with a big grain of salt.

Some if it may be possible. I wouldn't believe all of it though. My experience was a bit different.
