I like my revolvers. I also like my semi autos but a revolver was my first handgun and I will always have a spot for one.

Issue may have been resolved years ago with or by carrying at least 2 revolvers?
That's usually at least 10 rounds, 12 being typical, with sometimes advantage of 7 or more rounds per revolver.
Another revolver advantage is using many different caliber rounds verses just typical one in an auto. Shotshells also come to mind with crowd dispersal? ....and revolvers are still lighter than shotguns and bazookas?

Unless humanity evolves to the point where people can endure being hit with 5 shots of .38 Special without suffering serious injury, then revolvers will make sense for self-defense. Just because a particular type of gun isn't the best choice for every shooter does not make it irrelevant.
