I liked him in The Dirty Dozen, Eye of the Needle and in National Lampoon's Animal House.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers freaked me out.

But my all time fav of him is Oddball in Kelly's Heros.

i saw him recently on some talk show on you tube, and thought he was getting up there in the age department , but 88 is not really that old.
news said he had a long illness battle,
He was in some very great movies or stories, and then some that were no so great

I liked all of his movies especially Kelley's Heroes. The scene where he is walking toward a tiger tank with his Luger on the ready was so funny.

Yep, 'Oddball' was his key role as far as I'm concerned. He did a lot of good ones, but 'Oddball' was the best!!!
