Chances are that folks reading this have a serviceable modern handgun available to them to practice with. Chances also are that folks reading this may have heard somebody say that they shouldn’t dry fire because dry fire will damage their gun. There is some truth to dry fire causing damage to a firearm. However, that truth almost never applies to a modern gun.
