I've been using them in my .22 LR and .22 WMR revolvers for years. They last much longer than actual snap-caps. The only issue I have found is that the box of anchors I bought in 2014 work fine, but a second box I purchased in 2021 were too thin to work in my revolvers. The Amazon comments (as recently as July 2022) showed that many shooters had run into the same issue. If you find a box that works, drywall anchors are great. Unfortunately, I don't think that modern anchors will work in revolvers.
