Dumb prop masters mistakes

Sld1959

Sometimes it amazes me the stupid mistakes they make in tv and movies. Last night I saw two funny ones. One was an episode of American Justice where they showed a prop "ruger" magazine supposedly like the type used in a murder with the rounds in backwards.

The second was in a WWII history channel show where an American GI was using a flintlock Kentucky longrifle.

Aha, a Minuteman!

Well, when you have the "armorers" like on that Rust movie set, that should tell you everything you need to know. Now, to be fair, not all are like that. The John Wick series, among a few others, are fairly "realistic" and accurate on what they portray due to their having actual firearms experts who know the difference between a semi-automatic and a revolver, and their actual capabilities. Most of these "firearms experts" couldn't tell you what a blunderbuss is.
