For the 25th anniversary of the Kobra Carry, Ed Brown is releasing a dual-caliber kit. While the Kobra Carry is not new, the dual caliber model is. One slide has a 4.25-inch barrel chambered in .45 ACP with iron sights, and the other is a 9mm 4-inch with Vortex Venom red dot.

At $4,695, I have to ask why?
Are they depending on the slide to hold that ejector in place? 9mm & .45 use different ejectors and they're supposed to be solidly pinned in the frame. That ain't right.

Um yup. I like a compact 1911 (EMP) in 9. If I’m gonna tote the size and weight of a full size 1911 it’s going to be .45
