Ed Brown trade-in program

Happy Easter !
I hope this finds you with family and/or good friends, remembering the “reason for the season” ✝️
Regardless, wishing you peace and goodwill…😉

I’m taking a day of rest & relaxing by just doing whatever I want. A little Bob Seger on, back door open and cleaning my darlings.

I’m writing also to ask Has anyone used Ed Brown’s Trade Up program? Did u get a decent offer for your old EB, and/or what percent of your new one did it cover?

Thanks as always and Be Safe,
TW

Personally, if your older ED Brown is fine, why waste money on another one if you're satisfied with it, just me. You could get something else for the money difference between the two, ammo, accessories or even another pistol or revolver.

Yeah, you’re right Anni…
This one was an online sale, didn’t get the chance to heft it, look at options etc. Tested it out and realized there were a few things needed tweaking to get it “my way”. I did install slim grips myself.

As I got more familiar with EB I saw the custom build page and wondered “why not?”. They also have a way to send mine in and get some changes (“retro” list, they call it). I’m just exploring options.

But…. I gotta say, it shore enuff would be cool if I could order mine own, my way, right outa the factory :)
Hence my asking 😉

Seriously, it’s your money and decision, to me, the trade up probably won’t shoot any better then you one you have now, the one you got is still an Ed Brown, just my thoughts TW, don’t let my thought in this affect what you want to do.

I wouldn’t have the heart to take it out and shoot it for what it costs, it would be my one and only safe queen, it is nice though
Yeah, agree - the inevitable dings and wear.
The nicest, highest quality piece of stainless I’ve ever held, by far…it has also cured me of compulsive plastic buys; I’m slowly getting rid of most of ‘em.
