Kust a personal preference but Pass, not a fan of dagger blades for carry. Edc knives spend 99 percent of thier time doing things like cutting string, opening letters, opening boxes etc etc etc. Anything I cannot put my finger on the spine of for added control is worthless to me.

Just an opinion, obviously they work well for your purposes.

as long as 1 side is dull then i'm ok 🤣 . most that i carry are for work in cutting bindings, rope, string, wire, hose and whatever farming throws at me.

I’ve had piles of S&W knives over the years. Most of my beater knives, including the one in my pocket right now are S&W. The only thing I can say about them is they’re usually pretty easy to sharpen. Which is good because they need it often. The knives I carry at work are thoroughly abused and often lost so I don’t spend more than $25 on one.

Most of the old American classics are no more. Buck, Schrade, etc. All made in China now.

And if they don’t list the actual steel used there’s a reason.
