Any chance of the ATC Edge coming out in .308?

And heavy, defeating the purpose of an intermediate cartridge in the AR platform for most.

I think the weight is most of its problem, and a "heavier" cartridge would match its functionality better.

It would get "heavier" if chambered in the .308/7.62x51.

I don't doubt that, but the question is whether it would be a good idea in the end. One of the complaints I've seen and tend to agree with is that given the ATC's accuracy at distance, the Wylde chambering is too lightweight. That was my point.

You can do better than the ATC.

It's no more free-floating than any other well-built free-floated AR.

While I like most of what SA is doing this thing is not one of them. It may be a good concept but execution was a dud.
