Nice article and nice gun. I have/had a couple Blackhawks. Notably the .44 Mag Super Blackhawk with a 10" barrel. I still have a Bisley .357 Blackhawk with a 6" barrel. It's probably my favorite revolver ( that I own).

2 New Model Blackhawks-1 in .41 mag and the other in .357 mag-both of them the short barrel model's.
And 1 more Ruger Vaquero Birdshead in .45 acp-I very much like single action revolver's.

I’ve found I much prefer my .41’s to my .44’s, to the point I’m slowly getting rid of my .44’s; I’ll probably end up with one 4” 29, and the 6” Anaconda...

A .41 SBH would be fun. May have to put it on the list.

Beautiful, but that squared trigger guard. I much prefer the round, for shooting.
