No idea how old this kel tec actually is but i had never seen it before. Old loading system no detachable magazine. Say they do it to keep the grip slim. Kel tec is nothing if not inventive.

Mauser C96 comes to my mind when I see this.

From some reports of those that have fired the new Keltech is has performed well.
While most of us would pass on it I can see it in mag restricted states OR for someone to throw in their bag for hitting the woods.

Not for me so I’ll pass but good luck to them.

Seems like it would be a good backpack gun for camp or while hunting. Glove box or boat gun.

Maybe, we might think so at first blush. But, I get the feeling that if that were thier main objective they would have perhaps made it in 9mm first to appeal to more users. Who knows, its interesting at least.

More recently, remember the Grendel from the late 80's? George Kellgren designed a .380 that was loaded with AR stripper clips. This was before Kellgren formed Kel-Tec. It was a compact design and an 11 round .380 was ahead of the high capacity craze. Polymer too...George has quite an inventors brain.

How long until S&W copies them? Maybe Kel-Tec should release an updated version of the 3rd Gen Smith's so Smith would do it to?

But with commie run States it could/might be a way to slip a gun through laws/rules. Not a gun i would get though.

As I grow older I pay more attention to the 5.7. If the day comes when I am intolerant of recoil, and I pray it does not, an FN 5.7 is the answer. I suppose I should buy one now and start training. But DANG it is hard to turn my back on the 1911!!!!
