Everything You Need to Know About Subcompact Pistols

BobM

Hellcat
A newer brief interesting NRA article describing subcompact pistols in general and some of the growth in areas related to them.

I wish there was more consistancy in how pistols are claasified below the "compact" category.

I don't consider the Kahr PM9 a subcompact, but a "micro" with a single stack mag, whereas SA calls the Hellcat a micro when it has a double-stack mag.

My .02

Right?

I think we got this on another thread already Bob.
No big deal though

It's a possibility, but didn't see it TW,
I liked the article because it was fairly basic and covered the general terms, descriptions that are sometimes confused or overlooked. The article looked to address what subcompact pistols are in size, use and some of the concerns involved like finding or locating holsters people can encounter.

Is some of the reason why thought the article could help identify some of those things. In some ways micro fits into subcompact pistols, but yet it doesn't in other ways? Beats me sometimes! Blame the marketeers or the mouseketeers? :)
