Evolution of Defensive Tactics

I always get a kick out of watching old police/FBI training videos showing some of the tactics used in years past. I'm amazed that LEO's were able to get the job done with revolvers, no vests, and limited training opportunities and facilities. I wonder what future generations will think about our current tactics and techniques.
