My last long road trip i saw MANY MANY evs on the CHARGER at bucc ees ...many look like the drivers spent the night in the car.(meanwhile i was rested from godd nights sleep at nearby hotel and fresh hot breakfast)..
i bet lot lizards will pick up that and BOOM a new subsidiary of the old business will appear
i am thinking have a big bus with at least 6 beds in lock rooms like in airports, drive up and charge a fee for a BED to hmm sleep while you car charges ,
let see 6 ladies, one bouncer/driver and we are rolling in the dough🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
yes i was outside the box for a minute
my mind gets twisted every now and then
 
i cannot "see" quick charging, or, no waiting times for a charging spot.

if anyone recalls the gas crisis of the 70's, as i do, i worked as a wrencher in a gas station, near riots and chaos were the norm if me or one of my helpers had to put a sign on the last car that read..."last car in line, no more gas for at least 4 days"

then, you'd wanna see the guy behind that car, remove the sign, and attach it to HIS bumper...

but he didn't get away with it, we took license plate numbers of THE LAST CAR in line.


i had no interest in guns back then, but i wished i had.....that would have ended many jerks from trying to start some :poop: with me and my crew.

another gas station owner, carried a beautiful revolver, and proudly showed it in the open, as he'd walk the line, or pump gas himself....no one dared "muck" with him...

"so go ahead, Mr Bidadum, push and push for EV's.......you'll be long out of office, and good riddance"....

maybe the next President will push back this insane idea of going full on electric.

well, as i traveled thru Nevada....in my trucking days, trailer parks, brothels on the outskirts of the city were all over the place.

at 1 truckstop, the former Union 76, there was like this huge billboard on the wall.

there was a phone on the table.

each girl, or house had a 3 or 4 digit number....

pick up phone, enter numbers, talk a minute or two (they KNEW where you were), and a a driver would pull up to the door..

bad thing/good thing...

sometimes a nondescript car...

sometimes on the side of the vehicle...."Cherry Blossom Ranch"

dear god almighty, can you get any LOUDER in advertising where you were going..????
 
i have a few

but think about his
12 cars lined up at charging docks for hours or maybe minutes
your stuck.. i have seen charge stations in areas that are NOT people friendly .
so when does the smart bad guy figure out. HEY free picking for cash.

at least bucc ees has security and lots of people running around
but he charge docks at outlet malls are hmmmm well you get it

with cost of living as it is..
i think a bus with fun could be an answer :love:

work, pay your taxes, pay your bills, pay your rent or mortgage, raise your family, feed, cloth, and house them"

i'd say THAT's a responsible citizen, these days.

getting scammed for buying such a vehicle to be "responsible" is not the way.
 
I was listening to a podcast where the caller made a claim it costs him only $3 of kWh electricity to drive 100 miles as his way to promote EV’s, saying gasoline being in the higher price range of electricity, he gets an equivalent of 100 mpg, something no car can achieve.
The podcast host asks if he plugs the car in every night before leaving in the morning, to which the EV owner said yes.
The host said, “Well, I only go to the gas station maybe two times a month“ and have piece of mind not of running out.

Folks are being scammed into believing electricity is cheap and plentiful. When they outlaw petrol and NG, electric will skyrocket. IL‘s ComEd electric utility now currently seeking a huge rate hike…not just for the sake of satisfying the stockholders profits (which they always raise rates for this too) but for infrastructure grid updates all related to climate mandates.

JB outlawing both coal and NG power plants, even going so far to limiting nuclear plants. I’m not sure where the heck these buffoons think how they’ll be able to supply electricity to millions of households and industry with just solar panels and windmills.
Another bright idea from the land that bought its own supreme court.

This guy is an idiot. He lives in Winnipeg and bought an EV which are massively negatively affected by the cold. Winnipeg is one of the coldest spots in Canada. All the other crap he goes on about you can discover in a 5 minute Google search. What a moron. Guarantee you this guy doubles down and buys a different brand of EV and has all the same problems.
 
…and for what it’s worth when it come to tax dollars…
Here in the City of Chicago they’re well into grifting with long term EV leasing. No doubt there’s a third-party lobbyist attached to that deal who also benefited.

I have to wonder what the city needs a fleet of $100,000 pickup trucks for, as this agency only dabbles in pencil pushing and paperwork….uh, make that keyboard strokes and downloading.

And what these imbeciles don't realize is that they will be taxed for every mile driven. Then, to drive their fascist point home, the gubmint will start taxing you at every charging station. Morons think they are saving money on not buying gas. They seem to forget those gas taxes go for roads and highways. No gas tax, the gubmint will get their pound of flesh. People are stupid.
 
EV vehicles and the so called climate change are nothing but political hogwash, go back and study the earth’s climate, it changes all the time over many thousands of years, not just like that’s being reported, they blame everything on climate change these days, cattle, wildfires, every natural disaster is due to climate change. Now don’t get me wrong, some stuff may contribute to it, but it doesn’t cause it like it’s being stated.

what is equally annoying, are all the other countries still polluting the air, and leaving so-called carbon foot prints, like China, and India as only 2 examples.

what are the odds those countries will go full bore electric the same time or before the USA..???
 
My next door neighbor bought a Tesla for his wife about a year ago. She is a hard core liberal (but he is not). The next month, she was in an accident and smashed the right front fender to where it was undriveable........
........ It just came out of the shop last week. 'Nuff said.
