What your favorite Christmas singer or band ?
Mine is Nat King Cole.
Grew up with my parents listening to his Christmas album.
Everytime I hear him sing, it brings back soooo many memories.
i don't have any favorites, especially when 1 radio station here, starts playing christmas music, 24/7, starting Thanksgiving Day, and all the way until Jan 5th.
that annoys me to no end, so at least, i don't listen to THAT station, but i do miss out on traffic alerts/reports.
any Christmas song, or singer even up to including cartoons like the Grinch, are entertaining, while i am in the car, then only for maybe a few minutes, before i change stations.
my car does not have a CD player, so that means the CD i burnt of Shania Twain singing, "Man i feel like a woman", 47 times, can't be heard....and THAT SUCKS more than falling on my butt on an icy pathway.......
......I guess I'll listen to my mother sing! She can crank'm out! Like the Johnny and June Cash song, "daddy sang bass and momma sang tenor", except it was momma sang bass.....well dad did to. She could play the guitar and piano. As strange as it was I played a right-handed guitar left handed. That put the strings on the wrong side or more so upside down. And even more strange I hit every note it tune with the music that was playing. What I could do at 5 only lasted that year (or less) for playing by ear.
