The shotgun is an incredibly capable firearm, but it runs out of ammo quickly. Most shotguns will hold between 4-8 rounds the shotgun runs out ammunition faster than ever.
What follows is an assessment of common management methods and accessories that contributes to your ability to feed the pig efficiently.

Just to keep this thread hijacked from the original topic. I was a 60 gunner in the Air Force.... Usually the AG actually. They're great when pintle mounted on a hummer or in a DFP but get kinda heavy when you are patrolling on foot.

Those are inert training rounds

so this part here was mystifying "The real estate on a vest can be configured to prioritize slugs in one location and spare buckshot in another. The downside to a vest is the overt nature of it. When it is on, it is hard to conceal save for a trenchcoat." If you're carrying a full sized shotgun, I doubt you need to worry about concealing the backup rounds.
