Finally finished the new Spear...

Gave a sneak peek on that 48 hour thread, but it took some time for accessories to roll in and figure out how I was setting this up. It's gonna be more of a DMR role I think, since i'm running the LT 5.56 for rifle training currently. It's pretty heavy, so it makes me appreciate the LT alot more now haha. Added a Little Brother Big Brother pic with the LT for funsies (Found some socks that my dog definitely hid lmfao). Small accessorizing to do for it still, but this is more or less how it's staying. Finally taking it out this weekend, will let you know how shitty I shoot with it. LOL

While they're both piston guns the Sig Spear/LT-types seem to be a bit heavier up front, one reason I went with a PWS Mk. 118 MOD 2 build.

It's well balanced.

I bought the upper and finished it out with the obvious optic & BUIS set-up that works for me, plus the upper didn't come with a muzzle device so I added my preferred one.

But, I built out the lower to my standard specs from a naked PWS MOD 2 lower.

Actually, PWS doesn't sell that specific configuration. They only sell complete ones with 14 & 16" barrels, and the 18" (Mk.118) as a stand-alone but I wanted that since the 18" gives me the performance that fits my area needs much better.

The optic set-up on it right now is a Sig 1-4X with LaRue mount but I recently got a really good deal on the 1-6X version of the same, & have an ADM mount on the way (another good deal) so I'll put all that on the PWS, and bump the 1-4X/LaRue to a Tier 1 DI gun.
