Thursday night I get an Email from online Gun site CDNN and they have 25 HK SP5Ks for sale (good price to boot). Well I’ve been waiting almost 2 years for this gun on order from my LGS, so I decided not to wait and purchase from CDNN and do the transfer at my LGS. Well I get it in the cart and went to select my LGS FFL, and CDNN has no records about them. I feverishly text my LGS gun buddy and plead with him to get this info to CDNN. As it was almost closing time, he ensured me that they’d go this Friday morning. I wake up to a text saying my gun was ready. I thought he meant the FFL info was submitted and I could complete the online order. But no, my LGS order of the HK SP5K was in. So I eventually jump in the truck and hit the LGS (price a bit higher, but I took it gladly).

Well to be fair Pop, those dudes all donated a bunch of parts for my "Build an M16A1 for a Vietnam Vet" project, which I think was the focus of that particular conversation.

Now that you got the real thing, you don't need the "Cousins" anymore right ? ;)

Seriously, I don't even remember the thread, I was just joking with you. I come and leave so often on this forum (doing other things like buying Gun ;)), that it's hard to remember where I saw any conversations from anyone.

Oh BTW, The cousins are staying with me 🤣🤣🤣
