Fire bad

Called my cousin to check on her and the family. Fire just north of her about 1/2 mile. She is about 12 miles in a straight line south of me. Wind has been gusting up to 60mph with 25 sustainable. Fire is moving across the ENE that puts it to my east away from me.

Are you near Dallas or Amarillo? Apparently there are 2 wildfires going. The biggest one being somewhere not too far from Dallas. I took my brother in law to the airport this morning. He's in Donna right now and he says the wind is crazy.

Are you coming thru Tulsa then into OKC.

We'll be going through Muskogee I think. I got relatives in the Cherokee nation, though I doubt we stop and see them this time through. My wife is actually plotting the course so whatever is fastest probably. The plan is to be near Dallas in a hotel room Saturday night.
