Firing issue ?

guydodge

Alpha
so let me start by saying my 1911 Garrison is a lemon have had nothing but issues since day 1.it was sent into SA
for issues they adjusted the sear spring and sent back, they were supose to have checked the entire handgun over
which is highly unlikely since they missed the fact the slide stop was malfuctioning as well and almost impossible
to unlock slide and disassemble and put back in.(bought a new one a wilson combat and works perfectly now)

i have ran over a thousand rounds thru it and the gun continues to not fire rounds everything seems normal you'll
fire 2,3 rounds it will rack back and all seems normal but trigger seems locked have to rack the gun to eject that
round and next one will fire.this is a constant have 3 different style mags including wilson combats tried many types of ammo
FMJ only no hollow points.any ideas as to why this is happening i have a feeling its the sear spring still but unsure
please help if possible.. thank you

just for the record i have a Rock Island Armory and a Tisas 1911 that work Perfectly.

the only thing i can suggest, is like what i did, when i had to return my Kimber.

list all items on a piece of paper first.

then call customer service, and go one by one all the issues.

then take that list, make at least 1 copy, and include that with the gun when you send it back.

there is a possibility that the gunsmith at S/A missed something or it just was not listed.

S/A has been very good, from what i have read here and on other sites, as far as customer service.

Do what I did. SA-35 back 3 times for the same issue each time. Finally they are going to send me a brand new gun but cannot give me an estimated time of delivery. They state they are awaiting parts. They have had the gun in their possession longer than I have...
