First 140 yo peony

Well the blossom isn't that old, but according to my uncle when he gave me the bulbs 40 years ago they were 100 years old then.

This is the first blossom since we moved here 6 years ago and I transplanted them here.

Hi,

Mrs. BassCliff has a few peonies in the front yard. They're not 100 years old but she loves'em. They were also transplanted from a friend's yard and took a couple of years to get a couple of blooms. They're done now so I'll have to wait until next year to take a picture for you. ;)
