Weatherby makes some of the best hunting bolt action rifles around
My uncle, just a tad off plumb as you may gather in a bit, had a Weatherby. 460 magnum. It was a gorgeous shooting machine but my God it pushed your shoulder, thought my shoulder blades were going to touch first time I shot it, maybe 15. What an amazing rifle.

Now as to why he owned it, he never left Michigan hunting, but, he was a huge fan of the Executioner book series. So, it was a must along with a Marlin .444 and yes he had the .44 Automag And Beretta Brigadier also.

My dad who gave me my Weatherby’s had a .44 Automag as well 😎
I have a .300 Wby Mag and I dont like firing more than 2 rounds . Couldn't imagine a .460
