First-Time Gun Buyers Explain How Coronavirus Changed Their Politics

Hopefully all of the first time buyers will think this way now. Even if they never buy another gun they still need to know that they can if they want too.
Looks like the one California dude that was pro AR15 ban, is now buying guns (including an AR15), left and right. he even got his wife and friends to join the craze

I was required to carry a .38 Spcl. by S&W 24/7 365 days a year when I was a NYCPD Patrolman, Police Officer, Sergeant and Lieutenant. I retired in '84 and I still carry 24/7 etc. I feel naked without one. Tired of paying big bucks for practice ammo I got bit by the reloading bug in '95. In those days I could assemble a box of 50 .38's for about $2. Utilizing used cases and casting my own bullets from donated wheel weights from tire shops and a 8 lb container of Unique I assembled better rounds than I could buy from a LGS. My original investment for all the goodies I required was less than a thousand dollars. Although I started out to save money I ended up shooting up the savings and just shot a lot more. I have not bought factory ammo since forever except for shotgun and .22 fodder.

As my interest grew so did my collection of weapons. Today I load from .223 Remington to my beloved 50-90 Sharps buffalo rifle. My feelings about the 2nd amendment are favorable. I believe that gun ownership and practice to achieve mastery of your firearm should be mandatory for all law abiding citizens save for the crazies, wife beaters etc. Everyone should be required to carry a firearm when outside their domiciles. I know that would reduce the crime rate by a bunch and terminate all those mass shootings we have endured over the last 10 years. The only exception would be the October 1st 2018 fiasco in Las Vegas. That shooter had a very secure sniper position and 59 people died and many more were injured by that crazy slimeball. My pastor knows my background and wants me seated up front during our services as to be in position to prevent another mass shooting.

Just imagine if everybody was packing everywhere. Would not we be a mite nicer and less confrontational with our fellow citizens every day. Manners and civility would come back and this country would be a better place.
