Firstline order shipping time

Hello, was wondering if anyone has used the program recently. I ordered an Echelon Comp on January 27th through my local(and only in the state) dealer who does the Firstline program. They said they dont even get notification of shipment and it can "just show up." This is my first experience like this and I was hoping to gain some insight. Thank you for your time.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Firstline program, never used it. I ordered my Echelon 4.5F Comp on Feb. 3 (from grabagun.com) and it was delivered to my local FFL on Feb. 12. I know some dealers/distributors have the items on the shelf for immediate delivery and others have to order them from the factory. One of my LGS and my range/FFL are Firstline dealers but neither had that item in stock. I would imagine waiting for one to ship from the factory could take a few weeks, but don't quote me on that. My first SA XD9 took months to get to the dealer after I ordered it. But that was during all the covid crap, and when I was living in CA. Be patient and good luck! I'm sure you'll love your Echelon. ;)

I'm wondering how long I'll have to wait for delivery of the "Gear Up" promotional items, three magazines and a red dot, free when you buy an Echelon or HellCat for a limited time. I guess I'll have to be patient too. :LOL:

I can't remember where I read it (probably somewhere on here) that SA's gear up promo is backordered several months out and are offering a different optic to speed some orders up. Now that I type this, I am pretty sure someone on the forum mentioned this in a thread.. Hope you don't have to wait that long. 🙂

That's true. I read that same thread where the OP was wondering how long until fulfillment. When I signed up, the website offered a choice of optics, a CT or a Hex. I opted for the Hex because it seemed a little more robust, not made of polymer. Now we wait. ;)

I can’t speak for the Springfield reason however I bought a Colt Competition 1911 around 2017 and they had a big gear giveaway with a decent bag and shooting glasses and what not. It took MONTHS to get the items. When I inquired about it while it was Colt items it was a 3rd party vendor they came from.

A little frustrating but it was a decent bag and set of glasses for free so I politely waited and it came.
