I think everyone is born with a fishing pole here that’s so true no gun ranges here at least the southern endNo deer
No hogs
No gun ranges
Fishing is off the charts….
I gave up fishing
We are actually in a fishing town called marathon as I I see not to many bums out here lots more in San Francisco That place gone toI lived in Tampa twice. Weather was nice. Lots of bums ( hobos). We called it Trampa. Vibrant, burgeoning hard metal scene in the 80s. I used to live next door to the guys from Morbid Angel. They were insane. Lots of fun. I remember mucking oil tankers in the bay 12 hours a day for about $3/hr. Spent most of that money on beer and roll your own cigarettes. Ah, the 80s.
Tampa ain't all bad. St. Pete/Clearwater is close. Good surfing..We are actually in a fishing town called marathon as I I see not to many bums out here lots more in San Francisco That place gone to
That’s really a cool story bass bobI had a teacher in junior high. I was in a BD ( behavior disorder) program because I kept getting kicked out of schools for fighting. He was my BD teacher. Great guy. He straightened me out on a lot of things, genuinely cared about kids and their well being and was an all around cool guy. They say everyone has a teacher they remember. He was mine. Fast forward about 30 years and I go looking for him. It took 2 years but I finally track him down in Naples Florida. We have been "Pen Pals" ever since. In fact I just got a Christmas card from him yesterday. He's gotta be in his 70s. I think I'm going to drive down there and visit him soon. He's near Fort Myers now.
I lived and worked in the Tampa Bay area for 20 years. Retired in 2000 but after 9/11 mobilization was assigned there again at MacDill 2010-2011 until USAF retired me. Tampa Bay area is a cool place with much going on but waaaay to many people and traffic nowadays. Florida is where it's happening.I lived in Tampa twice. Weather was nice. Lots of bums ( hobos).
