The sheriff in Polk County is Grady Judd, he sets a tone.

My sheriff is of like mind and says if you shoot the burglars it saves taxpayers money. He also offers free firearms training. So glad I live in Florida.

Yep. Glad I moved down here in 1999 from Maryland.

Just took my class to get an out of state concealed carry permit for FL (and UT & AZ), instructor told us that it only takes a few weeks to get it after you apply, which is amazing given that it takes 120 days to get a CCW permit here in Nevada.
