But you’d probably forget the groceries. Now if Kroger sold guns as well as groceries I'd go to the store more than once a week!
Probably be no point of even thinking about groceries. But you’d probably forget the groceries.
I've been to that Fort Thompson store a few times when I lived in North Little Rock. It's a nice place...I bought a new Remington 870 and a new Browning BL22 with money I'd earned mowing lawns from Thompson's Grocery Store in Rose City, Arkansas back in the late '70's and early '80's.
The owner, C.B. Thompson, eventually figured out he could make more money selling guns and outfitting duck hunters than selling groceries so he shut down the grocery store and opened Fort Thompson Sporting Goods. Mr. C.B. has since passed on but Fort Thompson is still the go to place to buy guns and gear in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
I just saw this magazine and a bunch of other gun mags in Barnes and Noble yesterday.Nice to see there still a place that has a magazine rack and periodicals catering to the sportsman.
Sounds like me, I wnet to Menards for a box of sheetwall screws and came home with a chainsaw...But you’d probably forget the groceries.
